ORANGE — November 3, 2026. Orange Community Services says its CivicRec park and facility booking process accepts most permit requests no earlier than ninety days and no later than ten days before the planned date.
How to apply
Applicants must create or use a CivicRec account, find the specific park amenity, check availability and complete all mandatory fields. A proposed date is not booked until the municipal permit process confirms approval.
Large events have separate requirements
The city directs events with 200 or more attendees to its separate Civic Portal Special Events application. Vendor tents, paid entertainment or other organized commercial activities can also have extra rules.
Avoid assumptions about open space
An everyday visit to a public park differs from an exclusive rental of a shelter or sports field. Check amenities, fees and city rules before distributing invitations or collecting attendance payments.
